Yikes! There are still people reading these pages. It's been ages since they were last updated and it will probably even longer until the next update. Do you know, I nearly forgot the password to add new blog entries!?
To bring you all up-to-date, Kirsty's parents visited us at the weekend bearing the wedding album and the last of our wedding presents to have been stored at their house! Hoorah!
That's about it. I can't see any more reasons to update this blog now. If you have been sent here from a search engine or a link from another wedding blog, enjoy your stay! The calendar on the left-hand-side should provide you with all the links you'll need. Anything else, then feel free to contact us.
Those of you who like wedding photos will be pleased to see that I've added two more galleries to this site. The photos come courtesy of:
I have left the images as I have found them, which is why some may appear to be the wrong way around. Thanks for sharing them with us, guys.
Well, it's been a month, as one of you lot has noticed:
Congratulations P & K married a whole month, doesn't time fly! Just 6 years & 11 months to go 'till the itch sets in!!!!!
Indeed, the time has flown by. I'm sure the next 6 years & 11 months will too. I hope they don't though.
At last! We have now seen the Official Wedding PhotosTM. It has to be said, they're not too bad! I've scanned them all in and hacked together some decidely dodgy PHP scripts, so that you may see them in all their glory in the Wedding Gallery. Enjoy!
Some comments have arrived from a confused visitor:
Lordy I'm boredy
JC
I would suggest that you're visiting the wrong web-pages. These pages are for information regarding our wedding. Remember? There are plenty of other web-pages out there, if you're in need of distraction.
Meanwhile, I am still considering the design for the wedding photo gallery. Am still torn between a thumbnail and a slideshow approach. Perhaps I shall (attempt to) do both. Once we have the official photos and scanned them, of course!
I think every reader of this blog should rename themselves so that their initials are kaj - Keith Arthur Jamiroquai, formerly known as Jim
Alternatively, we could all just name ourselves Bruce and solve any confusion. If you're my IT department, then I'm kaj on all incoming mail and kar on all outgoing, just to add to the confusion.
A reader with an enquiring mind, enquires:
Ah, but which kaj posted that last message??
Alas, my mind is not as enquiring. I have a pretty good idea as to who the poster is, especially given that my wife could have just asked me!
So what happens to the wedding blog, now that you've been married for 22 days(!)? - kaj
A good question. I guess we shall just have to wait and see!
He's back...
Still married? - Jim
Of course we are. Why wouldn't we be?
Continuing on from my previous entry, it's time to say a few words about our honeymoon.
For the first time in my life and the second in my wife's, we went on a package holiday. This is not something we'd normally do, but we wanted a hassle-free break where we could both relax and perhaps enjoy some sunshine.
On the Monday morning (having enjoyed a lovely pre-Christmas Christmas dinner at K's parents' house on the Sunday), we departed from London Gatwick for Varadero, in Cuba. It was a long flight (around eight-and-a-half-hours) in jmc airlines' battery chicken class, but we arrived safe and sound with our legs still working!
Varadero was lovely. I've never been anywhere like it before. It was just like you see in the brochures and on the telly. Miles of sandy beaches. Crystal-clear blue waters lapping at the sand. Glorious sunshine (most of the time). And an all-inclusive package, which meant that we could eat and drink all we wanted, when we wanted.
We stayed at Brisas Del Caribe Hotel, which has some very mixed reviews on the web. Personally, I thought it was a great place, very, very clean and the staff were all very friendly. The food was good (if not a little samey). However, seeing some of the reviews this morning, I note that I am not alone in contracting food poisoning while I was there!
We made a day-trip to Havana City, which is a must for all visitors to Cuba. Needless to say, we picked up a cigar (or two). Enquire within! Havana is a lovely city with much history to see. A day trip is not enough, so we shall have to go back one day!
I think it's fair to say that the highlight of our trip was swimming with dolphins. This was a truly amazing experience. These creatures are so intelligent and very, very cute. We have a video of two dolphins flinging me up in the air, which all visitors to Johnsy Towers are likely to be subjected to in the not-too-distant future!
There's not a lot more I can say, really, other than that a member of the cabin crew managed to spill tea on me on both flights! Thankfully on the outbound flight it was cold! Ah well, never mind, eh? It didn't spoil our honeymoon. I'm not sure that anything could.

You're not enjoying the johnsy.com experience as it was intended with colours, fonts, layout and stuff!
May I recommend a newer graphical browser, perhaps? Mozilla, Netscape, Opera and Internet Explorer should work without too many problems. I'm a Firefox Man, myself!I see you prefer "CCBot/1.0 (+http://www.commoncrawl.org/bot.html)". --paj
