top secret passwords... hmmm... intrigued and a little frightened!! -theo

Theo refers to an email invitation to join our Fantasy Formula 1 Grand Prix league, Murray's Mint. All readers are invited to join in. The top secret password to join the league is available on application.

I picked up a spare program on my travels around Albert Park yesterday, which I shall post to the winner. I may even get it signed...

It's raining as I type this, so it should make the track nice and slippery for today. Hopefully the rain will stop before we leave the abode for the circuit.

There has been talk, this week, of Melbourne becoming a night race.

Ecclestone is keen for as many races as possible in the Asia-Pacific region and the Middle East to convert to a night-race format to boost TV ratings in Europe, where large time zone differences currently limit the audience.

I have an idea, Bernie: how about making as many races as possible in Europe convert to a night-race format to boost TV ratings in the Asia-Pacific region and the Middle East?

The Melbourne Grand Prix is the only race of the year that is televised at a sensible time in Australia. I would be very upset if that was taken away from us. Not as upset as my Melburnian neighbours who would have to put up with the noise of Formula 1 cars penetrating their sleep. Such a move would be disastrous. If Formula One Administration Limited really want to investigate night races, then how about a desert location where locals will be unaffected?

May I recommend a newer graphical browser, perhaps? Mozilla, Netscape, Opera and Internet Explorer should work without too many problems. I'm a Firefox Man, myself! I see you prefer "CCBot/1.0 (+http://www.commoncrawl.org/bot.html)". --paj
